I started the pill Saturday, can I have sex without protection this Friday?

I started my period Friday night and I started using the contraceptive pill for the first time Saturday morning. Would I still need to use a condom if I were to have sex this next Friday night? To clarify, there would be almost 7 days of me using the contraceptive pill.
